Walk dates: March 1-4, 2012 – Thu-Sun – Camp Chula Vista

TIME: All meetings will be from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

What to Bring: Bring a breakfast snack to share. We plan to finish promptly by 12:30pm, so we won’t have lunch.

LOCATION: Discovery UMC, 5487 Stadium Trace Parkway, Hoover, AL 35244. Located just off I-459 in Hoover, Exit 10, follow signs to “REGIONS PARK” baseball stadium. Once on Stadium Trace you will see Discovery on the right just before Regions Park which is on the left. The church sign is low and not very visible but as you approach the area, you will see the church on a small hill with a cross tower that has a big white cross above blue wave lines, can’t miss it.

I am really looking forward to serving God with all of you through this awesome ministry. I know He has great things in store for our time together and especially for the men who even now are being prepared to have a life changing experience. Please begin lifting up our team and the pilgrims to come in prayer now.

Since we now have our 501c3 status we want to make you aware that as you make a yearly, monthly or even one time offering to your community, you will receive a year end statement for your tax records just like you receive from your church. We are asking you as a community member to consider making a first of the year donation so that we can start out this year without struggling to stay in the black. There will be envelopes available at community gatherings as well. You will have the option for your contribution to be applied to a scholarship fund or the general fund.
